Arts Focus
| The Well is actively engaged in a number of arts initiatives, in particular through the hugely successful House Cafe Gallery in Camberwell Church Street. Being situated so near the famous Camberwell Arts college, and in a very arts orientated community, we have the privilege of playing host to many local Arts festivals; in particular the growing Camberwell Arts Week.
The Cafe is also home to one of our communities; MAKE community, a collective of creatives who are part of The Well. Halfway HOUSE takes place some evenings with a mix of performance lectures, live-art, film screenings, ‘hearings’, talks/panels, discussions and other event-based projects. There are a number of groups that convene artists of all disciplines. (See links on right for further examples)
